Did you ever realize

the most acclaimed people

have the shortest introductions?

You might reason,

they have nothing to prove.

We as the audience, are all to happy to have that short introduction,

So, we can get to the meat of the interview.

On the other hand,

When an introduction drags on,

With every credential, and every job listed

The audience will tune out.

They want to get to WIIFT

(what’s in it for them).

If you are being interviewed,

Grab the audience before you even speak

With an introduction that evokes your

passion, and purpose.

Elude to your perspective on your topic

Keep it short, and easy to flow off the tongue.

Be intriguing from the very beginning.
